Violence and vulnerability are such simple words to associate. On March 5, 2018, in the Seine Maritime, a man with a disability, who was beaten for refusing to give him a cigarette, returned home; a few days later he died from his injuries.
The next day, in the Dauphiné, it was an elderly woman who returned from her groceries that were attacked at home, rescued at the last minute by a neighbour. Unfortunately, these different facts are common. Who doesn’t feel vulnerable in these circumstances?
